At the onset of the war in Ukraine, the San Patrignano community—Italy’s renowned rehabilitation center—welcomes a group of refugees seeking shelter from the conflict. Among them, unexpectedly, is a team of deaf volleyball athletes preparing for the Deaflympics in Brazil. Despite their stark differences, a profound connection emerges as both groups navigate a shared journey of reclaiming control over their lives.
